Mama's Nachos (Kid Friendly Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of tortilla chips

  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese

  • 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed (can be substituted with other choice of beans)

  • 1 small can of diced green chilies

  • 1 small/med tomato, diced

  • 1 small avocado, diced

  • Sour cream and chopped cilantro, for serving


    Directions

    1. Preheat the Kalorik Air Fryer Oven to 350°F.

    2. Arrange the tortilla chips in a single layer in the basket of the Kalorik Air Fryer Oven.

    3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the tortilla chips.

    4. Add the black beans and diced green chilies.

    5. Place the basket in the Kalorik Air Fryer Oven and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    6. Top with diced tomato, avocado, sour cream, and cilantro.

    7. Serve immediately.


      Recipe Note

       Chef Tips: Swap out the black beans for cooked ground beef or turkey for a heartier version of this dish or surprise Mom by adding both to this flavorful Nacho recipe.
